Zmaj Jovina staircase
Zmaj Jovina is beautiful street at the hart of Belgrade pedestrian zone. Surrounded by old buildings, caffes, restaurants and many backyards gardens. In one of those quiet and peaceful backyards is an old, renovated pre-war house that has been adapted to two small two level apartments that are ment to be rented. Client wanted to keep the spirit of previous space with accent to rustic but also modern and comfortable.Two indentical staircases had been made for both apartments. Staircase is made of steel with thick oak planks. Togather they form powerful combination that gives us nice contrast and creates special atmospere in the apartment.
Z.J. staircase is made from heavy brushed steel and oak. Steel, even though it looks randomly brushed it was carefully planed so it looks uniformly across all metal surface.
