Overview
This booklet is designed for finding the actual problem and the relationship between smartphones and the society. Smart Phone E-waste is a graduate school thesis proposal for school project in Academy of Art University, GR600 Visual Communication Lab (Fall 2015).

Abstract
This is a project about the existing problem in the world. The life of the smartphone is only about 24 months for average users. Due to technological progress, nowadays people change their phones more frequently, which of corse, means that they are buying more phones. This huge number of used phones need to be recycled. However, the recycle rate of the smartphone is only 11-14% according to the EPA. There are many factors which cause this low rate: e-waste is difficult to recycle, people simply don't want to recycle it, people keep their phone as memory, etc.
