Nagasaki: a duality story
The brief for this project came from ISTD, "It happened on this day". The brief was to find a day or succession of days and present them in any way you see fit. I decidedon the bombing of Nagasaki in 1945. The project shows you what happened on this day using expressive typography in the concertina book, and then tells you what happened using the separate booklet. Unfortunately because of the amount of work I had been doing, I didn’t have enough time to create a portfolio of the editorial/exhibition piece. Which is something that ISTD Request when entering one of their competitions.
