While interning for GFT last fall, I got to work on several different projects. GFT is a global company with its headquarters in Grand Rapids and offices located in London, Singapore, Dubai, Sydney, and Tokyo. Working for an in-house department was an interesting challenge and I enjoyed my time there. It's always nice to work with other creatives who have more experience and knowledge than I do.
Some of the most exciting pieces I got to work on were the ones in Japanese and Arabic. It's interesting having to design in a language you don't know. Letters and characters become their own graphic elements.
