This is a greeting card illustration demonstrating colored pencil blending. At first, I had no idea how to draw a monkey to go along with the text, but after playing with it the result was very satisfying. The most fun part about this piece was blending in the colors for the drawing. The goal for this greeting card is to be playful, and invite the recipient to hang out.
