During the fifth quarter of Willem de Kooning Academie we had to work with Schiedam's Stedelijk Museum, who wanted to attract more people to its city and museum. We had to work in groups and we chose between three design approaches (commercial, autonomous and social), and one of the museum's exhibitions, which was divided by time periods.
Our group chose to work with the perspective of Social Design together with the 60's as a time period. As a product, we built a taxi bike, where a person from the current generation sat next to one who lived in the 60's, in order to arouse the curiosity of the younger to learn more about that particular period.
In the end, each person in the group had to create, individually, a website for the project, explaining how it worked and its purpose.
