I created this logo for another non-profit, Winter Sun Horse Park, located in Bellevue, Idaho. They are a park that welcomes riders of all disciplines and wanted to make sure that it was incorporated in the logo. To show this I used a rider jumping their horse, a western rope and western-style font. The darker colors of orange in the sun ideally exemplify winter because we don't have as many hours of daylight, thus it is an illustration of the cooler temperatures and shorter daylight.
After a year of having this logo, the board members decided that they weren't happy with the original version. I worked closely with their representative until the rider and horse looked exactly how they wanted it. I also gained more experience with my Photoshop skills and was able to create a rope that looked more realistic.
