We've no reason to fear the Darkness.
I only fear what resides within.
There's hateful monsters, so heartless
They take delight ripping limb from limb.
Their savagery not to be taken lightly,
Hatred is all they've ever known.
Their ruthlessness so frightening,
Yet I ventured the Darkness alone.
Heed these words, they are not lies!
Once trapped, you never return the same.
So terrified am I, as the cold chills rise
When that sinister voice calls my name.
Huddled in a corner, in paralyzed terror,
The Darkness conceals what monster approaches.
I hold my breath, afraid of death,
Afraid of what may come next.
