Search Marketing for Higher Education
A 2011 NCMPR Gold Paragon Award winner
As Internet Marketing Coordinator at Waubonsee Community College it was my duty to launch and maintain an ongoing search marketing strategy designed to promote career and transfer program awareness and enrollment. My responsibilities included strategic development as well as creative execution.

Sponsored by the National Council for Marketing & Public Relations (NCMPR) -- an affiliate council of the American Association of Community Colleges (AACC) -- the Paragon Awards competition recognizes achievement in communications at community and technical colleges. The following entry received the Gold Paragon top honor in the Online Marketing/Advertising category on March 13, 2012.
The NCMPR Paragon Awards competition is the only national competition honoring excellence exclusively among marketing and public relations professionals at two-year colleges. In 2011 more than 80 judges from around the country reviewed close to 1,800 Paragon entries in a variety of categories, including both print and electronic media.

This campaign was also recognized with an Award of Distinction in the 18th Annual (2012) Communicator Awards (Online Advertising & Marketing - Display Advertising B-to-C).
