"The" Ephemeral

Orchha is a small and largely neglected town in Madha Pradesh, India. Located on the Banks of river Betwa this place is filled to the brim with ancient ruins. The heritage of this place is not maintained by the ASI(Archealogical Survey of India) and hence the place carry all the rawness of time with it.

During my visit to the place I was really intrigued by the ruins of not only the legendary and the historical but also the Ruins of the ordinary houses. These ruins, to my amazement happened because of the coming of a highway there which would increase the tourism of that place.
Hence came this project as a question. In this Project I was trying to compare the ephemerality of the Historical with that of the ordinary. And was trying to weigh the importance of the two - which one is worth sacrificing and for what?
