Cutting Bread is designed by design students Petter Mustvedt and Herman Slyngstadli of the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, and Axel Berggraf Egenæs of Oslo School of Architecture and Design.

The design process startet a cold morning in March 2015, when they discussed their day from waking up in the morning to going to bed in the afternoon. They didn´t get further in their mind experiment than making breakfast, when they realized there needed to be a better bread knife. A couple of dozen sketches and a lot of prototypes later, Cutting Bread was born. And to everyones joy, it cutted bread like a hand saw cuts wood.
