Magazine assignment for Lasalle College of The Arts

Opaque is a fictional fashion magazine celebrating individuality. Hence, Opaque itself is a unique magazine that curates its contents according to a specific, prevailing fashion trend; such as pastel colours. Hence, the look and feel of the magazine is constantly changing, giving new surprises in each of the issue.
Since the magazine cover on one specific theme, the challenge was to curate the contents to match the topic. The design
was made to simultaneously speak the playfulness of summer and the branding of the magazine.
The silver title of the magazine was made by cutting out the front cover and placing a silver foil at its back, then embossing it for some addition depth.
