So here it is one of my favourite festivals "Happy Diwali". I really love Diwali festival of lights and sweets where we gift our loved one's and people around us. Burning crackers isn't illegal although it creates air pollution with all that fireworks, I wish i would just burn crackers all day and night but i really don't.
Diwali is an ancient Hindu festival celebrated in autumn (northern hemisphere) or spring (southern hemisphere) every year. Diwali is one of the largest and brightest festivals in India. It is celebrated on the ocassion when Lord Ram rescued Sita and returned to Ayodhya after fourteen years. The people of Ayodhya were very happy to hear of their beloved prince's homecoming. To celebrate Rama's return to Ayodhya, they lit up their houses with earthen lamps (diyas), burst crackers and decorated the entire city in the grandest manner.
As always i love playing with colors, light and shade, I wanted to make a piece of art for Diwali and Yay I Did.
