Because of my personal background with this theatre school, I got my first chance to make a brochure. It was an interesting task due to the required 8 pages and the timeframe was basically 12 hours.
Tänu isiklikule taustale Kaari Sillamaa Kaunite Kunstide Koolis sain ma oma esimese võimaluse kujundada etenduse kava. Tegemist oli üpriski huvitava väljakutsega, sest tuli kujundada 8 lehekülge ja aega selleks napilt 12 tundi.
Luckally I didn't have to do it from scratch. The main poster was already done, so I got the covers mainly from there.
Õnneks ei pidanud ma alustama täiesti nullist. Etenduse poster oli juba valmis ja ma sain kasutada selle ideed kaanteks.
Also 2 photographers had taken the pictures previously, and after I got them I had the idea and the main layout in mind and started selecting and cutting people out from the background.
Samas kogu kasutatav pildi vara oli juba 2 fotograafi poolt tehtud ja pärast nende kätte saamist oli mul olemas idee ja enamus paigutusest. Asusin pilte valima ja tausta eemaldama.
After 4 hours of cutting the pictures in photoshop i got the first draft of the text needed in the brochure. So i got the first glimpse of what goes where and started putting together the layout.
Pärast nelja tundi tööd taustade eemaldamisega saabus esimene kavasse minevate kirjade mustand. Seega sain ma esimese ettekujutuse sellest mis teema läheb kuhu lehele ja hakkasin juba esimesi lehekülje kujundusi kokku panema.
Firstly the cast was ment to take up 4 pages, but some important text was missing I managed to push all the actors in 2 pages in the middle of the brochure and all the back-stage crew and authors on the 3rd page.
Alguses oli planeeritud kõikide inimeste jaoks 4 lehte, aga kuna osa olulist teksti oli puudu, tõmbasin näitlejad kahe lehepeale ja ülejäänud meeskonna 1 lehepeale.
Our Powerful Trio - Composer, Director and Choreographer. They absolutely deserved their own page as well with a little introduction. Firstly I tried a little funnier picture with them, but that would have taken away too much credibility.
Meie võimas trio - Helilooja, Lavastaja ja Koreograaf. Nad on täielikult ära teeninud oma eraldi lehe koos lühitutvustusega. Alguses proovisin neist ühte lõbusamat pilti panna, aga see oleks liiga palju usaldusväärsust kaotanud.
