The Single-Use T-Shirt / The Disposable T-Shirt
The project was spawned from the disposable lifestyle that is prominent in the urban world which we live in, being in a constant state of lack of time. In this work, the disposable element is derived from its purest embodiment - the toilet paper roll, and transformed into create wearable and fashionablet-shirts which will suit the time and place we live in, whilst presenting a cynical review on our high pace, ever-changing culture. The user is therefore exempt from returning home, washing and drying his or her clothes, and so the use of a cupboard or a wardrobe becomes redundant. The fabric from which the shirts are made is a type of a non-woven felted paper, which is heat perishable and friendly to the environment. The disposable t-shirts bring with them a new fashion that suits this era of instant gratification that we live in.
