"Community Mosaic" Missouri Botanical Garden: 2015

This interactive art work has been a work in progress since April of 2014 and completed the Summer of 2015. The previous installment of the various colored paper became worn and I wanted to tweek it a bit. So I added a second layer of more disernable shapes. Such as a giant man fox, rainbow grass, a huge buck, and a number of trees. The public LOVED IT!!

The entire scope of this work was two walls measuing 12 by 24. My best estimate for the amount of kid drawings and bits of altered paper on the wall would be well over a hundred thousand.

This piece was created with nothing but crayons, markers, sticky tack, paper and glue sticks on two walls.
