I recently got a chance to do be a part of a show with some very talented illustrators and friends (Miguel Co, Alex Dos Diaz, Jess Nicho, Crystal Ben, Kuba Jennes, Alex Eckman-lawn, Kate Eagle, Greg Wright, Jason Piperberg, Marie Dileva, and Anthony Briglia) in Philadelphia celebrating the announced re-make of Final Fantasy 7.

 

I chose to do a piece showing a Midgar billboard for the epic play within the game “Loveless,” itself a nod to one of my all-time favorite bands, My Bloody Valentine.

Because there were 12 illustrators involved in the event, all 12 illustrated one knight each from the Summon Materia Knights of the Round. I got to illustrate the first knight in the Summon:
