Opportunity
With the opening of a new corporate head office for Elior UK located in Macclesfield, an opportunity emerged to create a brand new staff restaurant, from literally, a blank canvas.
Approach
Working independently on the concept & visual implementation on the project, ‘The Gallery’ was named as a wordplay after the long narrow dimensions of restaurant space, along with the idea of having the restaurant as a ‘showcase’ site for Elior UK.
There was frequent consultation throughout the process with Elior’s senior management key stakeholders. This project involved working alongside a restaurant installation and signage company to fully implement the visual concept into the ares on time for its grand opening.
Experience
Features approached in the project included the creation of the brand identity for the restaurant with devising a contemporary and timeless colour scheme to work throughout the restaurant.
Sole responsibility towards the creation of visuals and artwork for all wall mounted and hanging signage, design and artwork for all paper and print collateral to remain consistent in the area, with selection and arrangement for planting and furniture. All elements and materials produced for this project was delivered in place on site, on schedule, and on budget, all within a very tight lead time.
