The Good for Food concept is a network about food. It's a web network based on a crowdsourcing model that permits to the users to create a database with every kind of food product (ingredients, recipes from restaurant) according to their health and environmental features. According to the informations on labels, the system create a sort of ranking with the best products. This system could permit to the user to have a conscious behaviour about food and should improve the interest on information about food that there are upon labels.
The project has also the etical purpose to permits to small producers, seller and restaurant owners to survive in the global market, offering high quality products,giving to the users the possibility to organize a conscious boycott of worst products.
Reading the informations on the package of a product is possible to take a lot of information about the food; these informations are useful to create the page of a product in the database.
The new Label can be printed directly from the website by seller or restaurant owners, to promote the best products or recipes that have good eavaluation on web.It's an alternative and independent quality certification.
