Live in peace with nature
Gaïa is a rocking chair about life. Life is so precious as a vegetarian, I wanted to create a chair which can respect human needs and the Earth's ecosystem. Nowadays more than never, we need to take care of our weak earth.
In this project I tryed to create the most sustainable chair. I used 3 differents materials coming from recycled cycle: corck for seat and back rest, PERT for the fabric and recycled aluminium for legs. I thinked of the entire cycle of life of the product and how to minimise his impact in the earth.
To minimised this impact I used a flat pack system. Every pieces is removable and everything is screw together thank's to a system of magnetic screwer. With this flat pack we can put 350 chairs in one 40 foots truck !
