The reason I wanted to make stamps that will inspire people to write more letters to friends, is because people doesn´t write letters anymore. Today it is more common to keep in touch with friends through social media, so I think that people would really appreciate getting a letter from a close friend. Receiving letters that have been written by hand by a loved one is much more personal than getting a typed message in your inbox. 

I have created the illustrations by hand, using a black pen, which shows the process of writing a letter, and how they did before, as writing with ink and the use of carriage pigeon, which I think makes my stamps special and beautiful, something I think will inspire people to send a letter using one of my stamps.
