A commissioned piece for Gordon and MacPhail Whisky and their newest 75-year old bottle released this year. They commissioned me for an illustration to feature in a book of poems that would accompany the bottle. The illustration could also be used for in-shop purposes as it was made to large-scale.
I wanted to create a contrast of industry and nature as I had found this was the main imagery featured in my given poem. I was really happy with the outcome.

Continued development of idea to get the right visual style. The crown wasn't chosen in the end because of the jokey feel and didnt suit the brand.
Final Outcome
This was the final outcome of the project. I was happy as it allowed me to develop my own style further and work with new techniques i hadn't previously thought would work.
