This poster was created in order to advertise a wonderful array of font families -- in this case, those from the type foundry: Emigre, as well as a wide variety of simple, relatively easy-to-make recipes.

 

This tear-out poster can be placed inside your typical magazine, subsequently unfolded and with its list of 101 meals that anyone can make, this poster most certainly has a place on the wall of any modern kitchen.

On the back of the poster, we have information on the type foundry itself, as well as various examples of the typefaces used in the creation of this poster. My aim was to display each in such a way as to demonstrate the versatility of each font.

On the front of the poster, we have the list of 101 recipes. I sought to organize these in a clear format, with a type that was easy to read, but was also aesthetically and spacially pleasing to view. Each recipe is prefaced by a playful bullet point mark, and each begins with a bolded bit of text in order to clarify for the reader the contents and/or first step of said recipe!
