Acrylic, oil and spray paint on 35x60 canvas
This series is initiated on the sense of 'repression' coming from my creative anxiety where I am subconsciously repressed to express the certain emotions in life. my sub-conscious (free) act of painting constantly extracts those emotions out by making random abstract marks. Theyare becoming more conscious as I pursue the details in the facial structure. The contrast between the abstract and figurative is a sign of compromising with the repression in reality.
