Psico Typo
Psychology of Typography
As a final project for college, I've developed a book that treats the issue of typography being misused in graphic design due to lack of information on the psychological effects typography has on the general public. An advertisement, book, magazine or flyer can become uneffective due to bad use of typography where the message that is being sent isn't recieved as expected.

In order to put some light on the subject, Psico Typo is a guide book that shows graphic design students the proper use of type from a psychological point of view, helping them understand that typography, just like any other element used in graphic design, has to be well thought-out and really understood so that it can be used to its fullest.

IMPORTANT: The basic typographic concepts and the 'evolution of type' timeline that appear in this book are taken from the book 'Fundamentos de la tipografía' by Gavin Ambrose & Paul Harris of the Parramón editorial. This book was part of an assignment and I am making no profit from this whatsoever. It is available for free and has not been published by an editorial. Thank you!
