I was asked to come up with a simple, low-cost gift for Animal Humane Society's annual all-staff meeting in 2013. It needed to be tied to the organization's mission and not just another tchotchke. I decided to use adoptable animal photos to create an 18x24" poster. It took hours to select the best photos, ensuring a variety of backgrounds, species and shelter locations represented. The result was a very personal keepsake that staff genuinely appreciated and treasured.
