I applied and got in the first batch of interns last year for Pepper.ph, one of the top food blogs in the Philippines. I've never had formal training in design, so this was my first immersion into creative work and served as my training ground for handling projects and being diligent with deadlines.

After my summer internship, I remained to be a contributor for the said blog, lending my skills in hand lettering, photography and copywriting. Here are some of the projects I've worked on from late 2014 to early 2015.

Bento Box Tutorials

Pepper came up with a series of bento box instructional videos for preparing on-the-go meals. I was in charge of adding hand type to each clip and keeping the video less serious through the type treatment I chose to do.

Edible Flowers

I created a series of edible flowers postcards in line with Pepper's article on the subject. To keep it a bit more rustic, I painted with watercolor and lined the flowers with calligraphy ink.
