This was a class project in which the objectives were focused on packaging and logo design.

The name of my mock organic baby food brand was "Mon Chi Chi" because, that is the name that my mom used instead of monkeys when I was a young child.

I feel that showing the process behind a design is very important. I started with hand drawn sketches/thumbnails and moved on to digital comps and color testing for the logo mark itself. Once I had a clear logo, I tested different variations of layouts for the wrapped information sleeve on the canisters and then placed the logo on the tops of the canisters. 

As for the colors of the canisters, because the mock brand of baby food was organic, I chose more natural food colors as opposed to pastels that are often used in association with babies. The canisters themselves are magnetic for easy storing for parents.
