C O N C E P T
In architecture, windows are more than just pathways for light to pass through. They are the apertures to a building. They are the eyes of a building, creating depth. One of the many types of buildings that uses windows as a functional medium are glasshouses, also know as greenhouses. Greenhouses are homes to plants and growth.
 
Modelling after Greenhouses, these pieces are ceramics allow light and plants to be in one habitat. They also use mediums such as glass glaze during firing.
