    Popular local newspaper "The Denbighshire Free Press" asked their audience "to help to make their website better" -www.denbighshirefreepress.co.uk - with an online survey. I found the feedback I gave needed explaining visually, thus this concept was born. Generally - as a long-time reader - I think the newspaper / website's content is well-thought and written. I didn't think however, that the site reflected that well - with the design rather text-heavy and unappealing. I felt the site needed to be easier to read and set about giving the articles prominence with more images on show and making it easier for viewers to share, like and comment. A visual and type hierarchy was set and the emphasis placed on large headlines and imagery with an injection of colour and user applications. Read Less
