Sweet Potato and Corn Soup!
I made soup yesterday so I wrote down the recipe and drew a card about it.

Sweet Potato and Corn Soup

-3 large sweet potatos
-small white onion
-4 oz veggie broth
-4-5 star anise whole pieces
-1.5 tbsp. black peppercorn
-ground ginger
-ground cloves
-ground nutmeg
-4 cloves of fresh garlic
-2 tbsp. green onion
-8oz heavy cream

1. Boil the sweet potatos for about 10 minutes, skin and chop into equal chunks.
2. Combine broth and sweet potato over medium heat
3. Chop onion and add to broth
4. Add star anise to broth
5. Crush and skin garlic cloves and add to broth
6. Add peppercorn, green onion and corn to broth
7. Add salt, nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves, and ginger to taste to broth and bring to boil, stirring occasionally.
8. Keep over medium-low heat, a slow boil, for about 30 minutes.
9. Remove from heat and remove star anise shells and seeds, then process the soup mixture in a blender or food processor until smooth.
10. Return smooth soup mixture to low heat and slowly stir in cream.
11. Let sit over low heat for about 15 minutes, then serve.

~Best flavor when you chill it and serve it the next day but live your life~
~Also measurements on spices are totally approximate, I can guess how much I put in there but the fun of soup is letting yourself have some freedom~
