Large& imposing, the seemingly ever-expanding urban sprawl dominates & tamesits surrounding land. Even though organic forms of nature are lost, geometricand structured formations emerge in a flourish of textures, details, sights& sounds.

As a late‘80s baby approaching my mid-twenties, one of the biggest influences on my lifeover the past few years has been travel. The experience of fluidity of place,my friends and I exploring new countries in pursuit of adventure & thediscovery of home.

Iexplored architecture as the recognition point of cities. As a daughter ofArchitects, I find I am very aware of structures, of the aesthetics of a place.I considered the architecture of four particular cities and how they canautomatically trigger the viewer’s own memories & personal experienceswhich they can bring to the work.
