Florence Architecture photos - 2015.

Last summer I gained my architectural inspiration from visiting Florence, Italy where I instantaneously fell in love with the classic, renaissance Italian culture. I loved how the building had such vast amounts of detail from the hand painted tiles to the structural design. I loved turning every corner and looking at how the buildings all had a uniqueness and individuality but I knew they were Italian.
I loved looking at how a culture and civilisation had developed around their homes and buildings, from the cathedrals to basic apartments. By using my camera I could capture the designs and beauty of each building, integrating a passion of mine with an obsession. I also drew diagrams and took notes from every building or popular cathedral I went to, roaming from the Duomo to the Leaning Tower of Pisa.
I have become obsessed with looking at architects work and architecture in general and at how culture influences building designs and their structure.  My favourite photo from Florence is the last upload of the palace overlloking the entire view of Florence. Florence is a very compacked city, but I never once felt over-crowded or blocked by any of the buildings as the high ceielings and light that came from every window opened my eyes to the stunning views and to the exciting Italian culture.
To this day, Florence is the most beautiful city I have visited.
