Minimini is a clothes collection for little girls, developed under slow fashion and hand made philosophy. It is directed to an audience that live an extreme femininity way of life and I named it sense girls’ little girls. Slow Fashion is developed under a statement against massive production and reproduction of clothes and fashion accessories, also against fast and accelerated changes in trends and clothing. It proposes a return to basics by developing pieces highly designed that allowed them to survive trends and have longer lives. Hand made is a fundamental value of Slow Fashion because it proposes a specific production system. Materials used in the brand clothes are mainly silks, cottons, linens and laces; material manipulation includes screen-printing, drawing, embroidery and digital printing.
Minimini is the first brand of Carolina Agudelo | Surface and Textile Design. It was created and developed in 2010 together with Maria C. Bernal (a.k.a. my mother), a colombian fashion designer.

TULLE BLOSSOM
Tulle Blossom is about country side life and gardening. Takes as inspiration the roses’ gardens. The dresses are to be used to visit grandparents, to go to the flower or vegetable garden. Materials of this universe are cotton jerseys and silk organzas.
FOLK GARDEN
Folk Garden is based on easygoing life and play. Takes as inspiration paysleys and Liberty fabrics. The dresses are for the every day life: play at the park, get together with some friends where the little girls draw their own folk universes. The material of this universe is flax.
LACY REBOSO
Lacy Reboso is about culture and tradition. Takes as inspiration Mexican rebosos and Frida Kahlo universe. The dresses are for a visit to a museum, a library, theatre and every event related to revive culture and traditions. Materials of this universe are rustic flax, cotton sargas, silk satin and lace.
PEARL DOLL
Pearl Doll is about celebration and elegance. Takes inspiration in nards and lilies. The dresses are made for celebrations as weddings, holy first communions, baptisms, etc., where the girls are little princes for some hours. Materials of this universe are silk satins, silk shangtungs, tulle and lace.
