Aquazoo
The Aquazoo Löbbecke Museum in Düsseldorf is a mix out of a Natural History Museum and a Zoo with an old tradition in the city’s history. It displays living animals as well as fossils. To demonstrate this diversity, we developed a Font consisting of various styles that can be flexibly combined with each other. This allows the representation of the Museum’s range and variety. To support this we defined 5 colors that can be applied throughout all the corporate elements in various media. The pictures are rasterized to emulate the Museum’s research activities, wich go from the overall picture to the smallest detail.
Therefore, the corporate design can be very playfull or appear to be completely serius. Because of all the possible variations and combinations, the corporate design is just like the Aquazoo Löbbecke Museum. — In collaboration with Björn Jeske and Tim Rausch
