Magazine Spread, Fall 2015
For one of my design classes, we were tasked with creating a 2 page magazine spread from scratch, using InDesign and Photoshop, as well as tasking us with using original photography and finding copy. Being a big-time beer fan, I chose to work with the Fargo Brewing Company (which gave me an oppertunity to drink for class.) The picture taken was actually touched up very little in photoshop, only adding a slight vignetting, and color adjusting to match the desired lighting. The text was partly borrowed from the Fargo Brew Co.'s website (Thanks guys!), and partially my own spin on things.
Composite: Fall 2014
Now, I'm definatly not showcasing this work for its overall design (I'm pretty sure this was my first ever piece for class), but I think that the photoshop work was (at least, for the time) impressive. We were tasked with mashing up 4 different pictures into a composite, and I chose to showcase how, as a student, we're tasked to do multiple things at multiple times. This isn't my best work (lets not about the two pairs of headphones), but It shows where I've come from, and what I'm able to do.
