After capturing the essence of the David Mellor brand, the concept for a plywood breakfast tray was created. Inspiration was taken from Corin Mellor's work with plywood. Plywood provided the material properties needed for the product to function as well as the material honesty and high-quality aesthetic that was consistent with the Mellor brand.
