GODDESSES REDEFINED
The concept behind the shoot was to show the advent of mythological femenine characters into the modern male chauvinist world and their redefinition of the roles played by women around the world . The concept also takes into account the social causes not pertaining to women only as a group . Accordingly fifteen female mythological characters have been highlighted and represented . Namely Durga , Lakshmi , Saraswati , Chitrangada are included . Also the whole styling aspect is based on modernization while keeping the essence of tradition . To saisfy this purpose , a mixture of Indo-western attire has been presented and also the accessorization has been done in such a way that it complements the Indo western look .
