A university project in collaboration with a prominent Australian manufacturer and supplier of outdoor/public space furniture.
The brief was to design an innovative piece to compliment their existing range of outdoor furniture.
VersaHub features a central universal Hub which can be configured into various seating and use arrangements depending on the customer's needs.
The seat extensions, which attach on the inside of the central hub, were designed to the supplier's existing slat specifications, to allow co-existence with their current inventory.
In addition to it's modularity, a key feature of this piece was the specific design of the central hub to achieve concealment of all fixtures, giving a clean aesthetic finish in any configuration.
