A second year university project.

The brief was simply to design a tap, complying with Australian Standards, for the modern bathroom.

I wanted to design a tap that made a statement, a sort of trophy tap if you will, using simple geometric shapes and clean lines inspired by architectural design at the time of concepting.

The defining characteristic of this concept was the striking full length die casted handle, with clean unobtrusive H and C etchings on the front face.
A simple, yet visually striking handle that is the defining feature of this tap.
A transparent render, highlighting the internals and flow path from the mixer.
