Minimal geometric, spatial watercolor compositions. Again, it's an experimental attempt at giving the medium an unusual dimension, impossible in real life. Treating the watercolor paint like a more structural material, another layer of an image, which it literally is, and trying to look at it from a different perspective.
With this series I also created a hashtag #consciousPictures where alongside the picture I share my thoughts, consierations and opinions on creativity and such, that I have when creating.
" Too much perfectionism kills creativity. I've caught myself in that trap too many times. I could work on something and refine it on and on and on... and that way I wouldn't really create anything new & feel bad about it.
Good enough is better than perfect, because perfect doesn't exist! "
"Sometimes it starts with a perfect vision and from then on everything is a continuous compromise."
"At some point, you just have to stop thinking and start doing it."
"Don’t save your best idea, project or whatever you come up with for later, for a "better" occassion. Just do it now, show it to the World so you will have to have another great idea"
The "Material" series also resulted in creating a promo brand imagery for Semplice
