Agendas - Oil Paintings

Agendas 2002-2012

Agendas are all about patterns of continuity. I have chosen a simple and universal methodology to visualise a consciousness of truth and the cosmic rule of events. What inspired me most where the almost unseen relations between events in time. The matter that trigger things to happen. You might also think of Decision Trees or Mind Maps looking at my paintings, which is an obvious thing as they also reflect a small part in my concept.

The characteristic circles in the Agendas would represent specific steps and decisions made in life – if preferred – during a week or a single day. They symbolise the patterns we continuously create moving through life, by thinking, making decisions, or even remembering, this way becoming a kind of portrait of ourselves in the chosen period of time or or the chosen period of time itself.
However, the meaning is too universal to be closed by only such an interpretation. The tree of continuity concerns every possible area in space – all kind of mappings, or why not take simple board games.
