Nicholas Torres's profile

Westborough Behavioral Health

This project involves the renovation of an existing 1980's 90,000 SF office building into a behavioral health hospital for 150 patients. Following the new model of bringing psychiatric patients into the light, the first priorities of the design involve large amounts of natural light in the activity rooms as well as balconies off each bed wing to allow patients fresh air and natural views of the surrounding Worcester Hills, while still be safe and secure. I have been involved in this project through conception and am especially involved in the exterior recladding and product research. This project is currently under construction.
