I wanted this movie poster to be dark. I needed it to be dark, that way it could effectively communicate the meaning of the story. Because the film is titled "Lost Light" I wanted to portray that with the cover. I gave it a dark look, and with the figure in the corner, he looks like he is hidden in the shadows.. The shadows of old, haunting cases that will not go away. I added the large photo of the character in the upper side, because you can witness the pain he has within his eyes. He has been in the darkness before, he has been searching for the Lost Light for a while now. Has it taken the complete toll on his body, yet?
Here I have updated the look. I gave it a darker feel to it with the face no longer prominently in the background as it was.
