Мы защищали свой проект на международной арене в Барселоне, наравне со студентами ведущих архитектурных школ со всего мира. В 2015 году участие приняли 6 стран: Россия, Франция, Испания, Германия, Италия и Португалия.
 
Этим летом конкурс совпал с крупнейшим мероприятием в компании L’Oreal – «Global Summit of Pharmacy Leaders», на котором собрались топ-менеджеры подразделения активной косметики L’Oreal и представители крупнейших сетей аптек со всего мира.
 
В течение полу года шла работа над модернизацией существующей в Москве аптеки – мы создавали дизайн пространства, продумывали подход к обслуживанию клиентов, не забывая и про рентабельность проекта. Перед нами стояла задача сделать аптечное пространство более современным, дружелюбным и функциональным.

The aim of our project is to change the traditional pharmacy into health and beauty oasis. We believe that design is not just about a beautiful picture, it is also about helping people by creating a space that makes their life better. We also want to bring more prosperity to pharmacy business. And this is how we are going to do it.
 
Our pharmacy belongs to the 2nd largest pharmacy chains in Russia. It’s name is RIGLA and it has over 13 hundred pharmacies. Our pharmacy is located at the center of Moscow, near one of the busiest streets with heavy traffic. The area has a good transport infrastructure with several bus stops and Moscow city parkings nearby. There are many office buildings and colleges around our pharmacy.
Our consumers are young people 18-35-years-old, who study, work or live near the pharmacy. 81% are women, and the majority of target audience are office workers and students.
We talked to our consumers and learned that everyday they experience high level of stress, unhealthy diet, sedentary lifestyle and the lack of time outdoors. We want to solve these everyday problems with the help of our new design concept.
 So we propose a concept we called Megapolis Wellness. We want to create a space that will give our consumer all the benefits of healthy outdoors lifestyle right in the center of megapolis.
We started the transformation of the pharmacy from outdoors. The facade - that is what attracts consumers and invites them to come inside. We would like to make an attractive, standout, facade. Our facade design symbolizes the freshness light of water and nature touch with plants and green grass. It is a true oasis in the high traffic street.
We benefit from pharmacy’s big windows and left them open to attract potential customers.
During the night the facade is beautifully light up and attracts lots of clients. 
We planned the space zoning by following the simple health formula – wellness leads to health, and health ultimately gives you beauty, which in its turn comes from the inner and outer health balance. 
 
 
That is why on the right side in the outer beauty area, we’ve placed Active cosmetics shelves, Derma Center with a unique testers desk; and on the left side in the inner beauty zone you can see OTC medicine, interactive run capsule with a realistic view of running distance and oxygen pipes, and healthy nutrition zone. And in the heart of the pharmacy these zones meet at welcome area with cash stands and promo zones.
Let’s have a closer look at each zone.
Welcome area is the first thing a customer sees when he or she enters the pharmacy. There are also two cash desks with promo area just in front of it. Dispensary Rx medication robot is inside the counter and it lifts the Rx by automatic dispensic system from the cellar that is just under the counter.
Here you can see two zones: the Nutritionist Consultant zone and the run capsule.
The unhealthy diet is a huge problem among our customers and we want to change it. The nutritionist will evaluate the state of digestion health; give diet advice or simply help to choose a healthy snack or refreshment for their lunch break at the Healthy Snack shelve. Oxygen cocktail offered to our consumers will become a breath of fresh air in a megapolis!
Most of our consumers spend their time indoors working at their desks and they need more fresh air and a workout.
Running capsule is a great opportunity to have a fitness break during a working/studying day. The panoramic screen with interactive distance and sound effect will give consumer an impression of running in the forest. Built-in oxygen pipes give the breath of fresh air and oxygenate the runners. It is literally like a walk in a forest. You can also hear birds singing and the sound of leaves and the wind if you out on the headphones. 
Here’s an Active Cosmetics area – the Derma Center – with product displays, interactive testers table and diagnostic area.
We’ve separated the Derma Center zone by a glass. The display on the wall informs clients about the diagnostics types they can get and the time it takes.  
Based on the skin diagnostics result a consumer will get a skin care advice, samples and a discount that lasts only during the diagnostics day.
The testers desk’s top is an interactive projection and it’ll help a customer to choose his or her full skin care routine by the type of skin with the following steps:
-       First, a customers chooses his/her skin type,
-       Then, the tester desk lightens advised samples,
-       When a customer picks up desired product information is projected on a table. Customers can swipe the information and read product description, skin care advice and product review. They can also leave a review of the product they used themselves.
A small area of the pharmacy was one the biggest challenges we had. To save the space and use it effectively we’ve decided to place an interactive shopping display. The display contains all the pharmacy shelves, helps customers to search any product they need and to read necessary information about it.
The display gives an opportunity to make a purchase with 3 easy steps: choose a category, then the product and add it to a shopping cart. It also includes the pharmacy’s best offers and discounts information.
Excellent client service, staff responsiveness and friendliness will create an open communication atmosphere, where consumers will know that they are appreciated here and are very welcome back.
