Pages from my Sketch Book Project 2012 submission
The celtic influences were inspired by a trip to Ireland in 2011 in which I spent time with in laws and contemplated my Irish ancestors. The style is somewhat reminiscent of the childrens' book illustrator Robin Jacques who I have only just realised is a heavy influence on my drawing style. The work includes watercolour and ink pencils as well as pens and acrylic paint.
