A three seater sofa weighs 200 kgs on an average which makes it difficult to move up the stairs and on flat ground while cleaning.
The proposed design of modular sofa frame connects modules of every seat and handrest to make a sofa of desired capacity which can be upholstered similarly as a wooden frame sofa.
This roto-moulded LLDPE sofa frame for a three seater sofa weighs only 45 kgs (with upholstery) which is less than 25% of the weight of wooden frame sofas.
The frame is resistant to termites and moisture which makes it more durable.
