This was a project that was initially an entry into to a drawing competition over at Deviantart.com, which also became an important portfolio piece for me and an opportunity to create a colour version of the drawing in PS.

The first picture below is the original pencil drawing (based on actress Charlize Theron) which was drawn using Faber Castell Polychromos colour pencils (using the Cold Grey range) on Strathmore Bristol smooth paper.

The next picture is where I created a colour version in PS.
