Monuments to the forgotten heroes

Monuments to the forgotten heroes
In a world overwhelmed with ideological over-consumption and suppression we often forget to give recognition to the little crucial things that sustain our contemporary everyday life while still here on earth.

'Monuments to the forgotten heroes' is a minimalist digital graphic study that collects various elements of our reality and celebrates them in monumental manner.

Through parallel linear shaping, with an assisting use of light and shadow, and  with great accent to the architectural forms and shapes the monument itself finds a supporting eye-pleasing base.

While being the theme's subject, the actual monuments have a slightly added inner spaces and dimension, enabling them to acquire the central attention of the viewer.

The intentional absence of distance perspective on the part of the architectural objects, giving them a geometric appearance is substituted by the use of perspective on the part of the light and shadow.
