Design Hotels represents and markets a curated selection of over 270 independent hotels in 50 countries across the globe. Each property reflects the ideas of a visionary hotelier, an original, someone with a passion for genuine hospitality, thought-provoking, cultural authenticity, design and architecture.
Starting in 2016, Starwood Hotels & Resorts and Design Hotels, will empower their guests to take advantage of the Starwood Preferred Guest program (SPG) at a select group of Design Hotels.
The figure on the left shows how the integration will display on the homepage utilizing the predefined "masonry template".
The figure on the right shows how Design Hotels will display in the search results area. Please note, this is only phase one of the integration. Future phases will allow for a more seamless integration and user experience.
Only a subset of Design Hotels portfolio will be integrated into SPG for launch. Given this, the search module and hotel directory will be customized to accommodate a dynamic menu of applicable hotels and their locations.
